On March 2, 2005, the member organizations of the Illinois Task Force for Children of Prisoners Children of Promise, including CLAIM, hosted an amazing event at DePaul University’s Egan Center.

Three internationally recognized presenters led an extremely diverse group of correctional administrators and staff, child welfare workers and administration, community-based service providers, children’s caregivers, formerly incarcerated parents and family members of prisoners.

StarNet Center for Best Practices in Early Childhood Education has a video available featuring interviews of the presenters and a few participants.
